Praise God to live in this great nation!

I challenge you all to watch this video. It is about fifteen minutes long. Now before you say you do not have time; think about the individuals that sacrificed their time to be on the side of the road throughout the trip. More importantly think about Sergeant First Class John C. Beale who gave his life not even two months ago so that you and I can have the freedom to use the internet to be watching this. This makes me proud to be an American, want to praise God for this great nation in which I live, and to send many prayers and much gratitude to those that serve to protect our freedom.



P.S. - is someone cutting onions around here...or is there a fan on high?

Time: A precious commodity!

We all know the old saying time is money... well I have always agreed with this statement and even more so when my schedule gets to the point where I have to attempt to do everything needed as succinctly as possible. Get Regular Exercise for Mental Health

     So I realize that I have not posted anything to my blog in a very long time. Well, as you all know life gets in the way and the last few weeks/months I have just not been feeling like doing much of anything above and beyond just being. Walk it out...

    Recently I spent an entire month reading 1 John 1 through 3 John 1:15 every day. I also now put the books/chapters I am reading each month on my iPod and have them play on repeat while I sleep. In typical Jeremy fashion, I digress...      Some of my favorite verses out of those three books are 1 John 1:5-7 . Oftentimes I think we read through the bible just as you do the newspaper or a magazine article. The thing is all scripture is God breathed and is living! So what do these verses mean?      I believe they are talking about our lives when no one else is looking. Or the way we live with our circle of friends when not in public view. If you live differently at these times you are walking in darkness; hiding from the light. This is why it is so important for us to be careful of who we spend majority of our time with. Am I saying we should only hang around other Christians all the time? Absolutely not. It is the great commission to go out and spread the gospel and love others. H
