Meow...purr

It is wonderful how a cats nescience of the need for humans to get a good nights rest can lead to my torture...lol. My mother is out of town so needless to say her feline friend is in much need of attention. He found it necessary to be all in my face and purring like a monster of sorts throughout the night. Finally at around 6:00 AM I decided that I my as well get up...lol. Just thought I would share, although I am sure that you are all sleeping.

Time: A precious commodity!

We all know the old saying time is money... well I have always agreed with this statement and even more so when my schedule gets to the point where I have to attempt to do everything needed as succinctly as possible. I realize that a few weeks from now I will have a better routine down but for now I am in a bit of a quandary and should probably not even be posting an entry right now...lol. But we all know how I have grown to love using my writing skills (or lack thereof) LOL As most of you know, I just moved back to Texas at the beginning of March. Since then I had been seeking employment; while occupying time not spent job hunting with trips to the gym, yoga, and an assortment of other healthy activities! (My apologies for the redundant data preceeding this sentence!) Anyway... I began my new job this week and my schedule went from having nothing but time on my hands to working over 40 hours a week. Inscrutable happenings...

Have you ever wanted something so badly that your perception of the situation became distorted? I have. We can force situations so much that we lose perspective. Patience is a virtue...but damnit why? The great Aristotle once said, "We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit." Well I will tell you what I find myself doing repeatedly through life....making bad decisions. After all of the time and effort I put into college why am I not in a better situation? Should I dwell on this? On to my point... I will tell you why...everything happens for a reason and as long as we are constantly learning then we are living a fruitful life that will eventually pay dividends.
