Paradoxical sleep...

WOW! What can I say? Last night I went to sleep somewhere between 11:00 and 11:30 PM. At approximately 3:00 AM I was awakened and realized I had a strong urge to use the restroom...so I did. I then returned to bed as most individuals do at such a ridiculous time on a Saturday morning. Well, I could not get back to sleep. I continued to lie in bed with my eyes closed in total relaxation... After about 45 minutes I finally realized that I was awake. So I figured I would get online and clean out my inbox since it had not been done since Monday. Added an entry to one of my other blogs with some comic relief. Then off to the gym I went around 5:30. I had a great workout that extended itself into the seventh hour of the day. At this time you might be asking me how I came up with the title of this entry....bear with me here folks. These traits are inherently ingrained within a man's DNA and no one wants to walk on eggshells constantly. Men will naturally seek out leaders who affirm those exact qualities and who can provide a sense of male purpose and identity without constant apology. The louder and more frequent the condemnation of “toxic masculinity” as the default villain, the more intriguing the...

YOU...yes you are so powerful!

Believing, caring, encouragement, kindness, etc.      These aforementioned actions can change the world! Do you not believe me?Have you ever complimented someone to see them immediately light up with joy and gratitude? What if we were more consistent in this. Using our words to build up rather than tear down?      I would love if anyone reading this would commit to a 30 day challenge. Heck even just do it the remaining nine days of January and tell me what you see.      Keep in mind you are encouraged and welcome to go far above and beyond what I ask of you. However, if you choose you can start small as I lay out in the forthcoming sentences.     Choose one individual and tell them something encouraging everyday. This can be in person, via text, through a phone call, Hangout (or Facetime or Skype), or however you choose. Again if you choose more than one person, go for it! Or if you choose to enc...
